THE SEA AND LAKES
There's plenty of choice in the fishing waters of Mathildedal and Teijo National Park area.
The area attracts fishermen all year round.
Right in front of Marina, in the bay of the sea, plenty of perch, pike-perch, and pike can be caught.
The five lakes of Teijo National Park offer fishermen unforgettable landscapes.
Matilda Lake is a special destination of the Forest Minister, and alongside native fish, the lake has been stocked with, among others, catch-sized rainbow trout.
Eels have been stocked in the largest lake in the area, Lake Hamarijärvi. Matilda Lake is also suitable for fishermen with disabilities.
For individuals aged 18-69, a fishing management fee is charged, granting the right to lure fishing.
Fishing License 6515 - At Lake Matilda, a fishing license is required for all types of fishing, including ice fishing and angling.
